At the two free concert events hosted by UCI every year that are completely free for students they also give out free items. Even though the line up might not be your favorite you can still go and retrieve some free stuff. One of the most enticing things they offer is the free energy drinks, but they are different every time. At APAD this year they had Celsius and at Summerland's they switched to Alani. I was curious as to what students would want if they were able to choose what was given to them. Listen in to hear some UCI student’s opinions, along the pros and cons of these two drinks.

Should parents be able to genetically modify their children? This is one of many controversialtopics that float around in society. Though this procedure isn’t quite available yet due to it being deemed unsafe, it is becoming more relevant. There are good reasons on both sides for this argument. While it could cure children of genetically mutated diseases, it could also create new ones. It could create unforeseen hierarchies based on biology that would benefit society. But as a parent one’s perspective on this topic is very different compared to a college student who has had no children. Therefore, this segment explores some of the arguments on both sides for this topic. Listen in to hear the typical reasons against and for this procedure along with where I stand in this argument. Can you guess?
